I agree that it's mainly for low budget movies. My mian issue ith this site is that I believe $60 to list on the site plus an ADDITIONAL $40 if you want to have it in the newsletter unjustifiable.

Matt,

In this still somewhat recovering economy, Id go with cheap beer, cheap liquor, under 10$ wine, and sweet, loveable women. That should put you in the rite direction.

I signed up for Sellascript. Thanks for the suggestion. My fingers are crossed, which makes typing this very difficult.

Good luck. Let us know how it goes.

Just my two cents...

Inktip does have a proven record of sales.

In the 6 weeks since I signed up for Sellascript, I received 12 requests to read my script. Have only heard back from 2 of them, both showing poor taste in screenplays and writing :)

I would recommend Sellascript.

Next up I'll try Ink Tips especially if the other 10 also lack vision.

Thanks all.

Glad you got a good response, as far as reads go, anyway.

I've had reasonable 'success' with InkTip and recommend it for exposure. I get lots of logline hits, of course fewer who look beyond that -- but it's all about exposure. I've had one manager contact me who found me through InkTip. The Preferred Newsletter is a good service with decent leads. A lot of it is low-end, but everything's a lot more low-end than it used to be. On rare occasion, sometimes Universal or Lions Gate -- if I remember correctly -- actually show up in hits or solicitations. There's a lot of cross fertilization between your scripts, meaning if you have more than one script listed, usually someone interested in one script will check out others.

I'd second what Timothy said.

And I optioned my first short script to a filmmaker who found my short script logline listing on Inktip.

The logical solution is to run your scripts on both sites!
