Zed Fest is a film festival and screenplay competition established to promote and appreciate Lo/No budget independent Horror and Sci-Fi films, otherwise known as Z-Movies.
We want to support filmmaking outside the "System" whether it be DIY, Backyard, Sweded, Guerilla, Dogme, etc. The lower the budget the better!
Entries must be Horror or Science Fiction between 90 and 110 pages and must be conceivably producible on an extremely low budget.
