Objective:

Our objective is to discover and promote quality screenplays. There will be one winner in each of our seven categories: Drama, Romantic Comedy, Comedy, Family, Action/Thriller, Period, Sci-Fi/Fantasy (provided quality scripts are submitted in each category) and one Grand Prize winner.

The Grand Prize winning script will be submitted to managers, producers, and directors in Los Angeles, New York and/or London, depending on the genre.

We are a group of professional story analysts with over 20 years of story coverage experience (collectively) and we have extensive contacts in the film industry. We know what makes a great script and we want to find those scripts and get them into the hands of people who are in a position to get them produced.

Eligibility:
Open to anyone
Entry Fee:
$35 (through September 30, 2010); $45 (through November 30, 2010). Multiple entries welcome.  wsPro $5 Discount 
Rules:
Please keep script length to 85-125 pages (standard feature film screenplay length). No TV scripts or stage plays please. Only submit your script in Final Draft, .pdf, or doc/docx (Word) format files. Adapted scripts are fine, provided you own the rights to the material or have legal permission to write a screenplay based on the the material. BE SURE TO SPECIFIC THE CATEGORY/GENRE for which you'd like your script to be considered. International scripts accepted if they are written in English and payment is provided in US dollars.
Awards:
Winners in all seven categories will be promoted on the ScreenplaySearch.com website. The Grand Prize winning script (and possibly winning scripts in categories) will be presented to managers, producers, and directors in Los Angeles, New York, and/or London.
