Objective:
Post Your Screenplay. Get Feedback. Gain Recognition. For The Writers, By The Writers. The purpose of the festival is to highlight the writers potential and to get their screenplays in the hands of agents and producers. EVERY SCRIPT submitted will be sent to two Production Companies currently seeking their next Feature Film Project. One a $300,000 Budget and the other a Multi-Million Dollar Budget.

Open to anyone over 18 years old.
Entry Fee:
$25 (by February 2, 2010); $30 (by May 31, 2010); $35 (by August 15, 2010). See website for additional details.  wsPro $5 Discount 
Rules:
August 1, 2010 to 11:59pm on December 1, 2010 - Online Voting Process.

Revisions are allowed on the screenplays during this phase along with a $5.00 processing fee.

You must vote on and review a minimum of TWO screenplays (other than yours if you are a member) for your vote to count and to be eligible for "The Voter's Award," a $40 prize for the best Online reviewer.

Screenplays must be 90 to 135 pages in length.

Screenplays that have been previously optioned, sold or produced are not eligible to compete in The Philadelphia Screenplay Festival.

Screenplays must be the original work of the author.

Screenplays must be submitted in English.

A writer may enter more than one screenplay; however, a separate entry form and fee are required for each script submitted.

  • Publication on our Website for Agents and Producers to read.
  • One Ticket to The Great American Pitchfest (Pitchfest.com) - over 50 production companies attend this event where you may pitch your screenplay to all the companies. (valued over $300)
  • Screenplay Consultation via phone from an experienced Screenwriting Professor from "StoryRescue.com" (valued over $200)
  • Screenplay Analysis from "MyScriptNeedsHelp.com" (valued over $200)
  • $100 cash prize.
  • $40 to the Top Reviewer.
